WD-40, Who knew?
Ah . . more wisdom from the Starship. WD-40 is indeed one of the great inventions of the ages.
I learned years ago that, if in doubt, try WD-40 -- it almost never damages anything (it's oily, so it stains clothes, but it washes out) and it "fixes" an amazing number of things.
Not only that, it smells much better than normal oil so my wife does not object to using it inside the house.
Now, if they only made a glue . . .
