Fairly comprehensive list. Funny thing is that we have accepted them and understand them. What will be bad is when we talk to one another with our voices and use those abbreviations. (Doubt that will ever really happen.)

pilot...i have read some articles that people are beginning to use them in verbal communication..my little cousin is something like 12 or 13, and i have heard her say "LOL" in context...[:-]

i have also heard her use things like "rotflmao" of whatever it is...her nd her younger brother do it ebcause they are technically swearing, and the "adults" dont know what they are saying...
