i think that they are technically all painful until they turn 18 or so and move out..and learn that they arent always right...thats what did it for me!

Agreed, I remember the day I realized that my father wasn't an idiot afterall, he slowly got smarter as I went along. I tend to agree with those that think children should be locked up an put in a closet from the age of 13 to 18.:)

it sounds more like theyre talking in code...but im sure my grandma and grandpa think my cousin sounds mentally disturbed when she says "L-O-L" in context....
