Default Wha'dya name yer Vette?

Along the years, somehow, every car in my family has had a name.

There was a '56 Stude, named the Gray Ghost.
Dad said it was because it diedlong before we got it!

The Green Dragon.....'60 Ford 4dr. Fairlane 500, 390 and 3 on the tree and overdrive. That sucka would moooove!

The Silver Streak....
The Coronet.....
The '68 (a '68 dodge Charger)
and many others....'til...we have now come to my wife's, Rosa'struck,......
"Tigger", ya know?......TIGGER!?!
Well, If I can call The Vette, "Starship", she can call her truck any ol' thing she wants.

Well let's see, I think the only one I had that came close to having a name was my 1976 Chevy 3/4 ton 4WD, I bought it new in Denver and it stayed with me when I came back to Michigan, lasted longer than my first marriage, I had that truck for 18-1/2 years, never missed a beat, I think it was my sister that called it "Old Besty" cause' it was so reliable so it became just Betsy. That truck did'nt owe me a dime when I sold it and the guy drove it home.

The vette is Tweety and when she was still alive my dear mother loved to ride in my hotrod and she called it the Little Red Buggy.

My first one (red '87) was 'His'.

My secondone I haven't named yet. We're floatin' 'Buccaneere', 'His too', or somethin' cuein' on the color (black ext, black int., and black rims...).

My 97 Vette is "Shania" because she is HOT! My 00 Ram 4X4 in "Berta" "Shania's" fat ugly sister that will kick your tail. My wife's 03 Ram is "Thumper" because with the way she drives if you don't get out of her way she will thump you with that truck. She keeps telling me that she wants a 3/4 ton 4X4with a ranch had bumper replacement / grill guard. She has a 1/2 ton now with a standard grill guard. She keeps saying that if she has to hit somone, or a deer, ect. she wants to put it into orbit. My company car is is just known as the POS, however we say that lovingly since it is also company gas.

Well, I have been thinking about naming her Babe . . .
you know, initialism for Bad A$$ Back End.

Don't blame me . . . Blueshark first said it many posts ago and I must admit - I like it. [sm=smiley20.gif]

Thanks, George!

Besides, everytime I walk into the garage, I always say,
"Hello Baaaby!"
