Early date 1966 425 hp L-72
Early date 1966 425 hp L-72. I acquired the pieces to build this motor for a 1966 Impala SS project that has since taken a different direction. 3869942 4 bolt block dated I 3 65 fully machined. 3873858 heads dated I 30 65. 3885069 intake dated 8/13/65. OEM steel crankshaft 10/10. My intent was to replicate the motor build described in this article
http://www.corvettefever.com/techart...ild/index.html
In addition to the above referenced OEM parts I have the following NIB parts to complete the build
Competition Cams CB Nostalgia LS-6+ cam, lifters and steel roller rockers
Moroso pan
New Eagle rods
Holley vacuum secondary electric choke 850 cfm carb
Edelbrock performer RPM air gap intake
Timing set, chain cover etc. etc.
Stainless Steel roller rockers
Essentially everything you need to build this motor except for pistons (we hadn’t made up our mind on compression yet) and a gasket set. Will sell as is or built with dyno sheets. The parts are the real deal and took an extraordinary amount of time and money to obtain. Will entertain offers on all or part.
