Looking for a 1955 hood, anyone out there have one?

There is some buying and selling on here, not a lot. 55 is getting into the specialized parts. Have you tried Corvette salvage people? Not sure of your situation where you don't have a hood at all or just replacing a missing part. If you have an old hood or can get your hands on one you can mold one yourself if it comes down to that.

 

Thanks, I can try that, I have a skin to a 54 and cross frame of a 55 so I can make it I guess.

 

That might be the best way to go. Ebay has a skin for $413, Not a lot of parts around. Swap meets maybe. Sorry for not being a lot of help. Even the main Corvette suppliers don't carry many body panels which is kinda supperizing.
