Don't know if it's on national news but Bobby Hamilton Sr. went in for the final pit stop. it's been on the news here last few days.

 

It's been all over NASCAR.com the last couple days... talk about a sad day for the sport, that's for sure. The Hamilton family has been heavily involved for years now. My prayers are with the Hamilton family that's for sure. Great post, George, thanks for doing that.

 

Just thought I'd drop in to see what's up, had no idea that Sr. was gone, didn't see anything on the national or local news. I watch the news everyday, must have missed it. A sad day for sure.[&o]

Wicked news!! Theresa Earnhardt and Richard Childress have gotten together with a major film studio and put together a movie called "Dale". It was compiled from raw, stock footage of Dale just talking one day on his farm, with overlays of still photos and video clips that apparently have never been seen before.

Dale Jr. was moved beyond words when he first saw it. He said there was a LOT of footage of his dad he had never seen before. Everyone is talking about how great this film is going to be....

It's looking like we won't get it up here in Canada.... at least not until they release the DVD for sale. We'll definately be getting that one. But, for my American NASCAR friends, keep your eyes peeled for this movie coming to a theatre near you. [8D]

Man, I think I'll be off on Thursday, so I am hoping to catch the Duel 150's..... them thar Toyoter's aren't really doin' that well so far, but I suspect they might actually be holding back on purpose to give everyone else a false sense of security.

 

Haven't heard much about the Toyoters, I can't see 'em jumpin' in and takein' over the playground, we got some tough boys on our block!!!
