pontiac goin RWD, Chevy keepin the FWD format for Cobalt,... good difference in the models, so I figured a Opel Astra GTC may make a perfect Cobalt SS ,,,:

I don't like it either. Looks like it has been pieced together with aftermarket parts.
The US designers are catering to the younger generation, and this is the result.

 

Opel makes some pretty nice cars, though.

 

Remember the old Opel GT's?, they called them "the original mini-vette". My sister had abright chartruse green '72 and let some conniving car salesman talk her out of it. Geeeesh.

I liked those Opel GT's, always wanted to get one and put real wide rubber all the way around.

 

I guess it's okay if you're into that sort of thing. I'll stick with Corvettes.

Ain't my bag, at all. Some dude we used to know shoved a 327 into one of those Opal's many many moons ago... that thing surprised a lot of folks.
