Well, the weather is finally starting to turn up here, a bit. I was out and about pretty much all yesterday, cruisin' aroun' with the ol' roof down! It was great. For those who might be curious as to what Victoria, BC, looks like, I have made this real short video of some of the highlights of yesterday's cruise.

It really was on Sunday... Victoria BC is a tourist mecca of sorts, this is the time of year they all start comin' outta the wood-work, so to speak. In the height of the summer, it's not unusual to see upwards of 5,000+ people walking around in a 6 square block area downtown. Cruisin' is fun up here!
Today, the weather blows. If I drop the roof, my leather is gonna get soaked.

Does that suck? I would not like being around that many tourists.

When I was a youngster, many MANY moons before I met my wife, me and the guys used to love it... you could cruise around all night meeting and talking togirls; most of 'em from out of town, which was pretty cool.
But as I have gotten older andall that, I actually do find it a bit of a nuisance now, in trying to get around town and such. There's really only one way in and one way outta town here as we are surrounded on 3 sides by water, so it's a bit of a guantlet for traffic, if you know what I mean.
These days, we're very lucky. We actually live about 20 miles out of town in a small little berg of a city named Sidney... best of both worlds... if we need to go into town for any reason, it's about 20 minutes away, but in most circumstances we can totally avoid the crowds byjust staying away from the hubbub.
So, today for us, we don't mind it too, too much. Sometimes it's neat to take the Corvette into town and go on a cruise... a lot of people stop us and talk to us about the car. So, we enjoy that...
I think I mighta rambled on a bit there... sorry 'bout that!

Great veiws across the water Bro.
Parasailors, and I thought I saw a late '60's Charger.
I expected a somewhat mountainous or hillyterrain.
Thanks for sharin'! [sm=icon_rock.gif]
Tourists? [:'(]I get my fill of them every day, 497 days a year.
