[/align]I'll be the first one to say that most of the time I can drive way to fast, I've tried ot tame it down, but it is my instinct to go fast my Dad used to race cars, my whole family including me race motocross, so we are all used to driving fast, now I know there is no excuse because racing and strret driving should be seperated, and I know what I do is wrong, but I can't stop, but I am always working on taming my driving, but Lee is right you should be more responsible in driving!

Hi Lee glad you brought this up.
First my background. In the 1980's I got into sport car racing. I was in my 30's and still had the reflexes for racing. I raced open wheeled special built cars formula fords, super vee, and the fastest I drove was Formula Atlantic. Driving these open wheel cars for owners. Sounds great but it was intense to say the least. In the 1990's I was in my forty's and stopped driving for other people. By this time me reaction's were slower and the eyes weren't what they used to be. I decided to go vintage racing at this time and it was great decision. I met great people it wasn't as intense and very nice party's. I also got to control my own racing but also had to keep up my own equipment. In racing you build a trust with the other racer's. I say this because the most danger wasn't on the track but was getting there and going home. I wouldn't be able to even guess how many driver meetings i have gone to but 85% of these meetings are about safety and this is drilled into you over the years. Racing should stay on a track. There is no kids, drunks,gangs, garbage men, or whatever walking around the track. You do get some wild animals at times but that is part of it. Thats the background on my racing I feel there is no place at all for street racing. You are just asking to screw your life up or worselive with the thoughts of maiming or killing somebody else. I am not trying to preach, guys and girls put it on the track ware it belongs, you wont regret it. It will be the best time you have ever had.
