Hello everyone. I recently installed a new
power antenna in my ‘86 convertible. There is now heavy static from the radio. I looked underneath and it appears that I didn’t reattach a ground strap. You can see it in the picture. For reference, this is from underneath the car behind the driver’s side rear wheel looking up at the bottom of the new antenna. I assume that the strap should have been attached to one of the two antenna mounting bolts. Is that correct? Thanks in advance.
