Default Lowering with aftermarket bolts

Just wondering how many inches would provide a good ride height; I wanted to lower it 2" but I think thats too much, so I'm thinking 1.25-1.5 all around. Any insight would be appriciated.

Thanks,
Mike

I lowered my C5 as far as possible using the stock bolts. I believe the drop was about 1". If you wish to go lower, you need to buy longer bolts, although I don't recommend it unless you don't normally enter or exit any driveways. I also had to make some wood ramps, since I could no longer drive up onto the Rhino ramps for oil changes.

Thanks Much

I just bought the lowering bolt kit from ecklers corvettes about a week ago and they can lower the car up to 2 full inches and they only cost $25.00.

Does this ruin ride quality?

I lowered mine 1.5" in the front and 2.0" in the rear; the ride quality is worse but not by much. Also I have 305/30/19 amd 275/35/18 tire set up so maybe it has to do with the tire profile.
