I need advice from any expert out there. I own a '98 red conv. in excellent cond. with only 21,000 miles.
This is my second Vette. I 'm thinking of selling this car ( new baby )! The car is loaded, power everything,
6-speed, multi-disk, cruise, leather and ac. I bought it in Jan. '99 for $45,000. with 5,000 miles on it. You
can tell by the mileage that it sits in the garage covered up most of the time. I looked in the Kelly Blue Book
online and it list it for $22,000.00 in excellent cond. This seems to me , to be a low price, especially with the
mileage being that low. Does anyone have an opinion on this? Thanks for any help. I'll get my third Vette,
when he gets out of college!

Dont do kelly use one of the other books, also look on auto trader or anything local and price around what other vettes like urs are going for. And yes that does seem very low, I would think around 27k or maybe alittle more.

Check edmunds.com. Also look at autotrader.com and other like sites (ebay etc) to see what others are asking.

You're afraid that if you price it too high then it will take forever to sell. but if you price it too low then you will be loosing money. The only really safe thing to do is to keep the car. :)

You read my mind! If I ask $27,000.00 and they hand me the money, then, I'll know I made
a mistake.:(

I have my car on the market all the time on auto trader, its run till it sells for 50 bucks. I have it listed for 44k lol, I bought the car for 26k with all my mods. I do have a lot of mods and it does have pretty low miles on it. I look at it like this, I don't need to sell the car but if someone offers me 44k for it then see ya later C5 for a new C6 plus about 16k in my pocket.:D
