Hi guys and gals!

My '92 has a plastic cover on the E-brake handle that is driving me nuts. When setting or releasing the brake this cheesy plastic cover is likely to come completely off in my hand. That leaves my hand in contact with the bare metal and grease of the E-brake mechanism itself. Any ideas on how to solve this issue? Should it be screwed on somehow....or should it perhaps snap onto the mechanism?

I appreciate your input!

Don't take this the wrong way or think I'm trying to be funny, but I've had my C-4 for over 6 months and I didn't even know it had an emergency brake... Where is it???

In my '92 it's right next to your left thigh, just inside the door sill.[sm=jawdrop.gif]

I think us three E brakes are right there by the drivers door. New models they are in the middle. I like it by the drivers door. Feels more at ease down there personally. I say just super glue that sucker back on there.:)

:D I have gotten "crazy glue" on my thumb and touched my other fingers. **** does NOT come off. Had to soak my hand in soapy water for 45 minutes to get it pliable. FYI, save yourself pain and put on gloves. :(

Epoxy is way too permanent, in my humble opinion; I'd use the trusty SuperGlue, myself.
