GOT AN 81 VETTE AND THE DOME LIGHT WILL NOT GO OUT UNLESS IGN. IS ON.WHEN IGN. IS ON DOORS AND HEAD LIGHT SWITCH WORK FINE. DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHERE TO FIND THE DELAY RELAY? I WILL REWIRE IT SO NO DELAY .

On some GM/Chevy vehicles, you can hear the timer relay. I've never tried to listen for it on my '94, but my '98 Jimmy's relay timer is in the dash console, and it can be easily heard. It sounds like a hard disk drive spinnin'...

If anything else get timed through the same relay, it might put a draw on the battery. Remember that if you re-wire just the dome light...
