HELP! I have an 86 Vette with TPI and when I start it up it runs like it is leaning out badly, after 15 minutes it runs fine. It is almost undriveable until it is warm. I have 40-45 Lbs of fuel preasure and have tried the following:
MAF
MAF relays
PCM
BCM
HAD fuel injection system cleaned
Does anyone know if the cold start injector is supposed to pulse while the car is running when cold? Or just when the car starts?
Thanks

I'm not 100% sure these cars even have this but if they do, did you try the Throttle Position Sensor?

Yes it does have a throttle position sensor, it seems to be reading fine.

HERE lies the mystery....... When you start the car cold, it pops from the intake and sputters, I mean it is not driveable.....heck not moveable.

OK 15 minutes later......I am blowing out sideways and chirping second gear?????????

The temp sensor is reading correct temp.
The TPS is reading correct voltage.
Anyone have more info on the cold start injector?
Thanks
