I'm a new owner of a 2007 Z51A6 coupe, and in the last 5 months have put 10,000 miles on the car (I bought it to be a daily driver, replacing a 540i BMW) and love the car. However, with the long slope of the rear backlight and it's tint, backing up is difficult. The last thing I want to do is crunch my baby against a wall or a post. Has anyone installed a backup camera interfaced to the factory nav system?

 

well i have not but my question is it a factory option ?

 

Im an installer for bestbuy, and I have done a couple on factory nav systems. They work well, but not the best. Definately not as well as an aftermarket system. If you not worried about quality, I would say jump on it.
