Hello. I have a 01 c5 vert and I am currently attempting to install an Alpine ilx-w670 in it. I have the 18 pin ROEM-VET1 Connected.
I used the red wire behind the key ignition for my switched ignition source.
i used the blue wire on the harness and connected it to the remote wire on the alpine.
Color matched a the wires
on the Roem I didnt use the red striped wires or the orange because my alpine didn't have them.

alpine is still not turning on.
What did I do wrong?
Does anyone have a wiring diagram?
red wire was 12 volts
yellow(battery) didnt have anything

 

Had to say sometimes color to color on after market doesen't always work. I would try and Google that radio for a wiring diagram or check out YouTube. Make sure you have a good fuse and ground.
