Default stereo replacement

I own a 1996 coupe, auto trans., Lt1 eng. This car has a factory am/fm, casette stereo. I wanted to know if a factory am/fm, casette,cd player from a 1995 coupe would work without any electrical modifications? Meaning unplug one and plug other in.
Thanks if anyone could help me on this. phil

Default RE: stereo replacement

I know that bose and non bose items do not mix. Besides that should just be the same plug in.
