Default TV in a VETTE? everybody laughed...

Way back in 1991 I attached a gooseneck to the center console of my silver 85 Vette. I attached it to the little "change bucket".. The gooseneck was like 12 inches long and on the end of the gooseneck was a Casio LED Television with a 3" screen. I got so much flak for this from all sorts of "auto-aficionados".... People were like .... "whaddya gonna do, watch TV while yer drivin'?"... 15 years later, it's "all the rage"!

... my other idea that never materialized... was a baby seat for a Corvette that fits in the rear compartment of coupes. How come that was never invented or marketed?

Back in college we would rid ewith the smallest guy in the hatch compartment. Kinda dumb...but why take anything other than the vette.

Safety and liability was most likely the reason for no baby seat in the hatch. Whole lotta govt testing would have been necessary. Of course its OK to put one in the passenger seat if you dont have an airbag. There was even a TSB for installing an anchor kit in the rear deck for the 3rd seatbelt (for the headrest)
What I need is a LATCH retrofit kit so I can quickly switch the baby's seat for the toddlers.
