Default Engine oil catch cans

I'm seeing a lot of interest in oil catch cans and how it cuts down the amount of carbon buildup in engines, gas (and diesels). PCV systems on older engines have more blowby which means more carbon. I think it would be good to capture some of the crap from the engine valve covers and trap it before it enters back into the intake and sticks to your valves and pistons. Just my happy thought for the day.

As up to date I, and have installed oil catch cans on the C-3 Corvette, 022 Silverado 2500 6.6L gas, and the 024 RS trailblazer 1.3L turbo. Time will tell how that works out. Newer vehicles have direct injection nowadays which almost all engines now need type of an oil capture system, without having port injection to keep the intake valves washed off. Just something to think about.
