Default What kind of cover?

I'm going to be putting my 'vette to sleep for the winter soon. It will be stored inside of an unheated garage. I would like to put a cover on it. Do you guys have any suggestions on a good cover type? I did a Google and I see many (and I mean MANY) different types.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Dale

Dale, I too store my Corvette in an unheated garage. I purchased my dust cover for my 07 coup from the dealer. I'm very happy with it. It fits my car perfectly. It's very soft on the inside and I love the Corvette cross flags logo on the front and rear of the cover. Becausethose painted logosactually fits right over the real logos on the car.Like I said it's a perfect fit (made for the C6) and I'm glad I purchased it. It's water resistant and breathable. And will not rot or mildew.

I also purchased a Battery Tender Plus for the car. Now I'm just hoping for an early spring.

I not only use a dust cover whichI purchased from California Car Covers but I also store it in a car bag. I'm in Michigan so it is parked for the winter months also.I remove the battery and bring it in the house until spring. Never had a problem with start up afterI reinstalled it. The car bag is great because no dust or little critters can get inside to reek havoc. Best of all the car comes out exactly as it went in, washed, waxed, and dustless!!!

Hey spoiler, a car bag is exactly what it is called. You unzip and unfold the bag, drive the car onto one half of the bag, cover your car with a dust cover, fold the bag over the car and zip it up all the way around. Very simple procedure and quite effective. The dust cover is needed
because the bag does not have an soft inner liner. It is basically a tarp with a zipper. You can see one at http://www.calcarcover.com/product.aspx?id=76&cid=.

Thank you watwheel.
This is a great option against moisture.
I saw the product on the site and will look into its purchase.
Thanks again.
