Default 1963 Corvette Coupe Automatic

I was at a local car show in Pleasantville, NY on Saturday. Many really outstanding examples of stock and modified cars, everything from a ****** sedan to ****** super-charged hot rod. Reminded me of some of the cars I saw at Connecticut Dragway many years ago.Camaros, Mustang Cobras and GTs everywhere. I guess if you have the cash you can buy a "hot rod" Mustang today. Some great examples of MoPars for all you fanatics, including some originals. Needless to say, there were many Corvettes there. One 1967 convertible that was the cleanest I have ever seen. There were examples from just about every series all the way back to C1. Therewas a 1963 split-windowed coupe with an automatic, and I think it had A/C also. I had never seen a '63 with automatic. It looked totally original and was in very good condition. Is that a rare model or is it just that I have never been to the right show? Just out of curiosity does anyone have production numbers on 1963 automatic coupes?

2,621 came with the Powerglide tranny.
278 had AC
Of the 21,513 made that year 10,594 were coupes.

I would never have thought that there would be that many with PowerGlide. I figured A/C would be rare. One of the guys that I hung around with back in '63 bought a coupe with the 4 speed and A/C. All we thought about were 4 speeds: 390, 406 & 427Ford 2-door Galaxies, 421 Pontiac Ventura coupes, 327 SS Impalas, 409 Bel Aires and such.Where I lived in Connecticut, automatics were rare back then except in MoPars. Thanks for the information.
