I am interested in buying an original clear plastic envelope, the one that held the owners manual, etc. for my 1965 Coupe. I have contacted an online seller and he recommends one that does not exactly match the description in the NCRS Judging Guide. Pg. 28 of the 6th edition of the judging guide (Dec. 2015) clearly states that all 1965 Corvettes had a clear envelope that has a picture of a key and the words: "Don't Invite Car Theft". The seller told me that this is incorrect for Corvettes built before 1966. My coupe's build date is Feb. 17, 1965. Can anyone shed light on the one that I need?
