c1 frames
A newbi's plight.
Has anyone used any other frame to update their c1 corvette? I have modified my 62 frame to air springs, tubular 'a' arms/w rack and pinion steering. I also have air springs on the rear w/panhard bar. The frame is rusted and I would like to change frames and go with a center drive rear with the air springs, but am a loss as to what frame may be the easiest to modify. I am thinking of using A. Morrison's front half air spring frame, but it would require extensive fabrication, as I really want the center drive rear setup. Is there anyone here that has used another frame or modified one that would fit the c1 body? Thanks for any imput.
