Need some advice: Years ago we had to replace the fuel line on our ‘64 with a hose. Now replacing the hardened hose with new. Problem: Pulled the old hose from the fuel tank and the gas inside would not drain out. Can’t figure out why it is not draining the couple of gallons in the tank.
Any ideas would be welcome.

Something clogging on the inside of the tank perhaps. You could try blowing some compressed air through the hose and see if that might clear it up.
