Welcome to the forum. If it was built in St. Louis, I think starting w/ the '63s, there would be a build sheet on top of the gas tank. Later models built in Bowling Green have data accessible from the Natioal Corvette Museum. As far as previous owners, you would need to go thru your state's DMV.

You should join NCRS, if you have not already. I went to NCRS's Historical Documentation Services and I think for about $40, was provided the Production Date of my 64, the original Dealer code and who the dealer was that originally sold it. Hope this helps.
