My friend bought a '65 convertible a couple of years ago as his first Corvette and we just discovered that it has a 1980 or 1981 267CI 2bbl engine in it! He can't afford to replace the engine right now. Is there a way to get some more power out of this pathetic 125hp joke? Can a 4bbl intake and carb be put on it? I have a couple of old Edelbrock manifolds that he could use if they would fit. I don't know enough about this engine to know if this would work. Any ideas? I want to help my friend feel like he has a real V8 instead of a 4 cylinder!
