Default Needin some info

Hey yall, im new to the forum. My neghbor passed away 2 years ago and left a 61 vette in his garage. I played in this car since i was born, its sat in his garage for 21 years. Beautiful car, removeable hardtop, white with red interior. I asked his widow a couple of days ago if she would like me to see if i can get it running again. Now that i have permission, i looked at the engine in depth today. Its got a edlebrock intake manifold, headers, a really old upgraded blaster coil, hurst shifter on the floor. I belive it is carburated as well. It hasnt been run since 1986 i belive. Im a dodge man my self, and dont know too much about chevys. Can anyone give me some information on this year vette or point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

I don't have a link but I would recommend getting a factory service manual from Helm and ordering an assembly manual from one of the aftermarket Corvette suppliers.
