Rechrome bumpers
Hello. I have '66 Roadster (C2), that i in need of rechrome work on both the rear and front bumpers. Am in the Phoenix area - would prefer to take the bumpers to the shop rather than mailing them somewhere..
Have been hearing something about Rechrome businesses around the country have been closed. Firstly- is this true? Secondly, for the fellow Phoenicians on here...do you know of a reliable, GOOD rechrome shop in the Phoenix area? I am located in Queen Creek area, but willing to drive...for the services of a good shop.
Thank you in advance

One question to ask a place that you have taken to eventually is can they get the chrome inside the radius of the rear bumpers. Most of the rear bumpers for the C2 and C3 from the factory looked like brass because they didn't get the nickel and chrome thrown into that corner.
Another possibility is to find a place that does exchange work that can give you new rechromed factory bumpers in exchange for yours.
