1976 L48; A/C, fan & evaporator
This winter's project will be to investigate what's going on with the AC. With the AC on, you can feel a very cool breeze come out the vents. I haven't even touched the thing yet, but a mechanic friend said I should look at the evaporator (?) and make sure that it's not clogged (besides looking at the fan & fan assembly).

Welcome to the forum.
When you say "cool breeze", do you mean the air is working but the fan is not pushing much air? It could be as your mechanic friend says or possibly the fan motor is dying. The fan motor is a lot easier to check.
