I purchased a partialy restored 1980. I have most all connectors under the dash hooked up and in place but two connectors are wearing me out. One is balck with brown orange and red wires, the other white with 2 shades of pink a yellow and a brown wire. Any ideas?

 

can you post a pic? What area of the dash would they reach? Can you only get to them with the dash torn out, or just by looking into the footwell? Thick/thin wires? Let me know and I'll take a look at mine.

If you get into your driver's footwell and reach ON TOP of the steering column, there should be 2 connectors there that you plug these 2 harnesses into. My connectors were a different color, but the wiring and pattern was the same. The white one will plug in closer to the steering wheel and the black one should plug in right in front of it (closer to the nose of the car). You can't see these connectors without using a mirror (or tearing the dash apart) so you'll have to do it by touch.
