Now, now pg. Let's not be "Bloviating" on my account. I do enoughon my own.
There are only a little over 1200, not 2000.
1192 of those hits, are probably mine.

Due to other obligations, this weekend is a total wash, as far as workin' on the "Starship". [:'(]
Well, I missed the July 1 deadline, so I won't set anymore deadlines. It'll be done when it's done. This next week, I'll be at it again though.

Thats ok Dave. Deadlines usually stress you out anyway. I am so far past my deadlines they are comming around again!! What did you find on the crank pulley?Found an article in an old corvette magazine about engine swap from a 350 to a big block. Lots of part numbers eg; motor mounts TRW 82142, crank pully of course just says used or aftermarket.all the pieces including oil pan.dip stick, alt brkt.alt. brkt spacer water pump, well you get the picture. Let me know if I can help with something.Have a good day. Talk at ya later.

Summit has the pulley, about $70, and they only have an aluminum (sp,I can barely say it, let alone spell it ) one. I'm goin' to look around a little more.

Havn't looked it up on their site yet.
I called them up, and told them I needed one for a '74 Vette w/454.
I'm goin' down to look at it, and take measurements on Thurs.
Summit is closed tomorrow. [&o]

O.K., enough runnin' around. [:'(]
Kragen only has a chrome pully, around 85 bucks.
Napa doesn't carry one at all. So,...... it's off to Summit in the mornin'.
Crank pulley, shortshaft waterpump, and waterpump pully.
The engine came with the long shaft waterpump, but someone mentioned a prob with clearance to the radiator and shroud. Next, I suspect I'll have to modify the alternator bracket. Already knowthat my existingpower steering pump braket won't fit. I'll get out the torch, welder, grinder, and drill.
Ah yes,...... a chance to use my creativity.
(who knows, it might all work when I'm done )
