No more rattle from the piggy bank.
Gonna hav'ta put on the brakes 'til I scrape up some more scratch. [&o]
I'll be postin' Part 2, when the grass is a little greener, so bare with me friends.

Would ya believe, a10 sec truck?
A twin turboed 454 is hidin' under the hood.
Belongs to the guy that built my 454.

Nuthin' yet, the pony express uses donkeys nowadays.
Prob will get it today or Monday. I'll let ya know when it arrives.
To all those who have been following this post, I'm in the process of modifyin' the mounting brakets for the alt and power steering pump. Bend here, cut there, weld, andgrind. To some it would be a big pain in the ****, but I enjoy this stuff.
Still savin' up for a new alum rad. They are a little pricey, but I feel it will be well worth it. There are so many options available for makin' mods, it's really hard to decide which to choose.
After the brackets are modded, I'll be tacklin' the exhaust system. I looked around and can't find the pipe designs I'll need, so some engineerin' on my part will have to do the trick.
As I mentioned before, I've thrown out deadlines. I've settled down to takin' my time and tryin' to just do a good job.
If I had tried to rush the job, I'd just have to back track later and do stuff over. [&o]

Hey I can relate. Mine is just outside the kitchen window. It took the wife a while to catch on why I keep looking out the kitchen window.Still do and have a smile on this old mugg as well. Hey the mail is probly slow at this side of the border. Apparrently the guy who walks the mail to the border has been doing it all his life and is about to retire. They say he gets the job done but walks alot slower these days. So he might not of made it to the border yet to hand it off to the mule express.Ha! Talk at ya later Dave.
I expect a pigion drop any day.
Mine is sittin' where I can see 'er from the kitchen window too.

Yup, I'll stand for several minutes, just lookin' at 'er and planning my next moves.
I got the article.
Now at the end of the article, it states...
"This is definitely a time to enlist the help of an experienced Corvette specialist. Don't try this job without help."
Dang, I guess I gotta pull it all out and go hire somebody. [&o]
The article has a great parts list, and I'll be goin' over and comparin' parts numbers.
