Has anyone every purchased or know where you might find custom hood numbers? I would like 489 on my 68 vette.

That's a great question, years ago I saw a car with some custom badging, wish I would have asked where he got them.

Welcome to the forum .

The only thing I could think of would be to call some of the aftermarket Corvette suppliers and see if they have any sources.

Have you try Classic Industries, they have a lot of hood numerals and they might offer individual numbers to create your own. You can also have them made be someone but that cost $$$, I looked into that route

Default Update - I found something

Looks like these from Classic Industries will work. Thanks Northwood79 for the recommendation.

Always look forward to pix of projects !
I will be posting some pictures of my 79 project this spring. Finishing painting and exterior assembly and then will be starting on interior work- new carpeting, new seat covers and audio upgrades.
Other improvements include 383 Stroker making 475HP powering a built 200 4R transmission and riding on new poly bushings, upgraded sway bars front and back, performance springs and shocks and composite mono spring in the rear.

so when I return from enjoying the Florida sun and surf I’ll be ready to getting going on final assembly.
