69 roadster price
I have good friend who needs to sell his 69 Vette because of medical bills.
It is a 69 roadster base HP 350 ci with 4spd
Silver w/black top and interior
It is all original except for a repaint in original color and stainless exhaust.
Top is original and could use new weather stripping.
The brakes were done last year with stainless calipers.
Front ball joints upper and lower were also new last year.
It received a NCRS third flight award.
The car has been used by his wife as a summer driver.
What would be a fare asking price for this car?

RE: 69 roadster price
Welcome to the Corvette Forum. Try checking recent sales on Barrett-Jackson and Mecum. That should give you some idea. Bear in mind that most of those cars are full restos. How many miles? Might find out what some of the major NCRS deducts were.

Why not check the "overall" classifieds" f/ that year and model 'Vette. More of a chance you'll find something in the same shape/condition, w/ more realistic prices. Unless you're looking to offer the Top Dollar price f/ it./ Or would you say that it's in "the high end auction condition?" The cars in those auctions go f/ the "going price of that car f/ a collector."

ORIGINAL: 73shark
He said it was an NCRS judged car which means it has been highly restored. Those of the caliber of cars that you see at the major auctions.

RE: 69 roadster price
Well, it all boils down to 'what is it worth to you?'
Do you want it for investment return or as a driver?
Can you afford to 'moth ball' it as an investment, for a looonnng time?
Not having seen the car myself, I would guess at a range from 25 to 40 Gs.
Yes, that is quite a range, but 50 would be too high and 15 would be a steal.
Just my HO.
Like Texas said, look around on a few sales sites and see where it might fall.

RE: 69 roadster price
My reply is also to realize that a '69 IS one of the years that matching numbers are REALLY worth something, unlike the C3 after '71. A '69 in really good condition is worth a good dollar.
