did you check to see if the thermastat opens and closes drop it into boiling water. you could also have a blockage somewhere or your water pump might not be working all that well...i know i drive a mustang but its the same basic stuff we got in our forum. whats your timing set at? i have a 180 therm and my timing is up to 14* and mine never gets hotter than 170-175
