I haven't posted in ages, but I'm slowly getting back to work on the Vette. I've been to China 5 times, Tel Aviv, India 2 times, Moscow, Brazil, Mexico twice, Hong Kong, Macau, Frankfurt, and London since I last posted. Yeah, been one of those years.
For new folks, I have an '81 C3 that I bought a few years back with a bent frame and trashed suspension, on the way to the junkyard.
For the old-timers, it is back from the paint shop (18+ months), has new badges and chrome, new chrome gills, a brand new (still in the box when I bought it) 8track, and HotRodAir AC conversion.
Got the new power antenna in today, just need to pop the battery back in to check it out. Waiting on the last chrome piece, the badge for the rear bumper. Should have all the lights and signals sorted this week, and then off for inspection.
219k miles on the original block and trans, and it still purrs with no smoke.
