I am looking to buy an alternator now, for my 76 stingray. What I plan to put in electronicly is a sterio system, no more than 750 watts, I took out the power windows and now have crank wondows, along with the normal electronics, lights signals ect.... what would yall suggest for my alternators amperage, I am looking at a 70 amp, 85 amp, and 140 amp. I dont want to waste my money, so any help would be great.

In my book, you can never have to much alternator. 140 amp will probably require different brackets, though. Probably bigger in size. [8D]
