Those vettes sure are something else! I think the most interesting thing I've seen on the docket though is a 2009 Zr-1.

Link to what the 09's stats are.

That sure is a spiffy ride.

I can't watch Barrett Jackson any more. It is too painful. I could have been a millionaire if I had just kept all my old toys.....

I like watching it just to see what crazy stuff they get.

A 63 corvette concept just sold for 1.6M. I wish I had a paycheck big enough to afford those. Ah well, one day I hope. lol

Yes I watched some of it, what did dv8 say, "painful", to say the least. I owned a few of those cars over the years. I bought them used and enjoyed them, my cars were never in mint condition but I had my fun with them. So many of those buyers are employers and made there money because we all worked hard for them and when it comes time for a raise they cry and say business is slow so heres a .50 increase in your pay. I think Jay Leno said it best "Welcome to the more money than brains club" End of rant, PG.

Heh, I got to watch a 76 vette sell for 32,500. I guess that at least made me feel a bit better since I picked mine up for about 12.

Anyone else think the 2009 vette looks a bit too much like an old mustang gt500?

Anytime you want to feel like you got a bargin just pick up a copy of Corvette and Chevy trader, look at your year and look at the prices they are asking. No matter what we paid for our cars or how much we've spent on them, someone is asking twice as much. When you gather a crowd when you get gas, or when your at a light and someone gives you a thumbs up, to me it's worth it,. PG.
