RE: Anyone else watching Barret-Jackson?
I've already got more into the "Starship" than I could ever get out of it in a sale. I got it for me though, not to sell, can't sell, won't sell. I'd just hav'ta start all over. [&o]
If I still had just 2 of my ol' rides, I could sell them and retire, very comfortably. Who knew, who knew?

Doh! That's a bummer. I fully agree though. I'll never sell my vette. I've put too much work into her and it's just too much fun to drive. On a side note. I just checked out the florida special plates and one of them is a save our seas thing and has a picture of a shark on it. =)

I wish someone or org'n with credibility would investigate B-J as I've heard stories that some of those outrageous prices are really setups. []

I enjoyed watching the auction and I think the new zr1 looks Corvette. I was right on my guess for the price of 1 mill. 001 serial number will be worth a lot in years to come. Did you notice the same guy paid a million for another Corvette? 1953 serial number 003 he had this car at 900000 but just raised it to a million so it would be a million. also while bidding was going on for the president limo Jay Leno produces a cigar claiming he found it under the seat.
