Hi everyone,
My battery seems to go dead after a few weeks of not driving my '71. Any suggestions? I dont think there is anything drawing on it.

 

First, the battery could need replacing. How old is it?
If you disconect the pos cable and put a meter across from the pos post to the pos cable, (with everything turned off and keys in your pocket) and you get a reading, you have a voltage bleed. To check the altinator, start the car and disconnect the pos cable. If the engine dies, the altinator is not putting out voltage.
