I pulled the body off yesterday. Now the fun begins! ( If getting dirty building a big model is fun to you)

 

[&o]Hey Mom , not fair Rich has a garage!!!. Congrats Rich,a job well done . How did it go ,any problems. Any hints from a pro to a rookie. I see you took the doors off. Hey the fuel tank looks clean!!!

 

No real problems other then I couldn't get it high enough to pull the frame out or slide the dolly under. I'll have to figure that out when its time to go back on. I took the doors off because as you can see from the last picture the straps want to pull in alot and it looked to scary for me to continue.The book said it was an option but I don't think so. And the only problem I had was the two rear mounts. They wouldn't budge so I got my wizz wheel and cut the heads off and then drove the bolts straight up. Other then that it was a piece of cake. The fuel tank is the only thing new on the car. To bad because I hear thats where they kept the build sheet.[sm=boohoo.gif]

 

Hey Rich, nice job on the frame off looking forward to doing the same on my 68, but I have to finish building my garage first so I can room to do it. After you have finished putting you're body back on would you be interested in selling the lifting slings. I know its going to take some time before you're done maybe by then i'll be ready todo the same, orcan you tell me where you purchased them. Thanks
