Just wondering if one can fit 17" or 18" c4 or c5 wheels on a 1975 stingray without any problems. If so, would spacers or adapters be needed?

Try one of the big suppliers like Eklers, Vette Brakes,Zip Products,or Mid America. I believe they used to sell spacers to do that.
