Default CFM of stock L48 Carb?

Hi Everyone. This is my first post here. Hope you can help. I've been trying to find out the cfm of my Rochester Quad made by Carter on my 79 350 L48 automatic with air. I've searched the web for days and can't find this info. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.[sm=headbang.gif]

Your carb is a 750 CFM Q-jet. The L-82 has an 800 CFM, I believe.

Freak,

Jim McGowan at the Quad Shop in Rockford (Phone 815-874-4884), IL is the guru of Q-Jets. He had a good article on them in a recent "Corvette Enthusiast" mag, also same article in Oct. '04 "Musclecar Enthusiast". He is rebuilding my '78 L-82 Q-jet as we speak.
