I have a 68 and am in the middle of refurbishing the shifter plate. has anyone seen a chromed plate for a similar year. I am thinking of spray chroming it. Also looking at getting seat belts with shoulder straps from ecklers http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...p;dept_id=1707It is a coupe and coupes came standard with shoulder straps, but the previous owner cut them out. Where the originals retractable? No guides along the head rest or anything similar? How is it for accessing cargo area? Seems like alot of people have them removed for just lap belts.
