To figure outa reason, if possible, for all the differences in "Original Door Label Tire psi," please reply with: 1. Year of your Corvette 2. Door Label Tire psi 3. State of Origin ie; the state that your 'Vette was originally shipped to and sold in.

Read entire Topic; "Tire's Pressure."

Aldo,
I appreciate your participation in the survey that will hopefully help get to the bottom of the variety of different specs as to tire pressure recommended by the factory.
Your idea of also including the tire size, at first, I thought to be irrelevant, but after thinking about it, I suppose it is possible that the tire pressure could possibly be different for different size tires. Although all the tires are fifteen inch size, maybe the style of tire had something to do with it. I was leaning tward geographical location having something to do with it. Who knows...so far...

shark,
The last 'Vette out of St. Louis was August 1, 1981. The Bowling Green plant started turning out 'Vettes on June 1, 1981, and both plants were producing 'Vettes for the months of June and July '81. And August 1st., '81.
