Default Fiberglass hood-burst hose causing bleeding of hot antifreeze

First Timer: Hose burst forcing hot anti-freeze fluid into the fiberglass hood. Result- 1' x 2' area on top of hood showing bubbles
all the time and "weeping" when driven and engine/sun is hot.
Have been told the only remedy is to form a tub, fill with water and use turbo heater to boil the water until all of the anti-freeze
contaminants are expelled.
Is this the only way to attack the problem with buying a new aftermarket hood? THANKS!

Welcome to the forum.

I seriously doubt there's really any way that you can can ever completely remove the contaminates but you could check with a body shop that paints Corvettes.
