Default Floor pan question

Just getting ready to replace the carpet in the 68 a noticed a metal "floor Pan" on the drivers side. It is just on the upper portion of the floor board under the pedals, and where you feet would be in the normal driving position, not all the way down under the seat.It was held in with some sheet metal screws, and that didn't seem right.( that and the high beem switch always seemed to bein the wrong spot). After removing the pan it seems the fibre floor boards are in need of repair. The prev. owner prolly just put the metal pan in there insted of fixing it right.Does anyone know of floor pan repair kits, or peices that are avail? Or am I getting out the glass and resin.:-(

Default RE: Floor pan question

Hav'nt seen any kits as of yet...but fabricating one relitively close to original would be fairly simple. Good luck with it. .....Need any help let us know.Cheers.
