Does anyone know a good price for a 78 model frame, very clean with no rust, I have seen a few for 1500-2000 but one person wants 4000 for one, are they in high demand?, Im newer to the corvette scene and just dont want to be taken.

I'd say that you'd be better off looking for a "parts car" 'Vette, as you'd probably get a better deal money-wise on that than you will the frame alone. If you pay 3,000 or so for a frame alone, why not get the whole car in crumby condition and rip into it yourself. You'd also have some extra parts out of the deal to either have as spare or sell and get some of your money back. *And I'd think the availability of a "vette (whatever year) in crumby shape would be far greater than a bare frame.
